I was motivated to start ElderCare Solutions because of my personal experience working closely with older adults and their families. Too often I found that they just didn’t have enough information to ask the right questions, let alone make the right decisions to fit their situations. Caring for aging parents and other family members includes a lot of choices and issues about health care, housing and finances that can get increasingly complicated.

That same initial motivation — to help families negotiate a not-too-friendly health care system — led me to create a new YouTube channel, “Let’s Talk about Elder Care”. These short videos about senior care will provide you with some tips about topics like what you need to know about the Power of Attorney for Health Care and tips for helping older adults who are resisting change.

I hope they are helpful. I also hope you will add suggestions for other topics you would like me to address in the comments.
